The Specialist Hire Group expands its Crane Hire Division

The Specialist Hire Group has purchased the trade and assets of Telford Crane Hire Ltd.
Following on from its decision to invest heavily in new cranes for its Crane Hire division, the Company has purchased the trade and assets of Telford Crane Hire Ltd. through its Jardine Crane Hire subsidiary, in a deal that extends its coverage into the Midlands and expands its hire fleet to over 40 cranes. Also trading as Heartlands Crane Hire the business covered the East and West Midlands, the Potteries and Shropshire, operating from its base in Telford.
Coverage was further extended with a crane being located at the Rushlift depot in Bishop Auckland with a view to expanding the business in the North East. Plans are in place to increase the number of cranes based there following the success of the first few weeks during which the crane has been fully utilised.
