Our Development
The Specialist Hire Group has expanded rapidly over the past five years to become one of the fastest growing companies in its sector.
The company began trading in June 2002 when the businesses of Rushlift Mechanical Handling Ltd. and Rushlift Ltd. (fork lifts) were bought, followed by the acquisition of A Jardine and Sons Ltd. (crane hire) in November of that year.
Marsden Crane Hire Ltd. was purchased in October 2003, followed by Lex Komatsu South Ltd. (fork lifts) in 2004. After a year of consolidation, SMH Ltd. (fork lifts) was purchased in February 2006 followed by Peter Turner Fork Lifts Ltd. in November the same year. All the fork lift businesses are now consolidated into one company, Rushlift Ltd.
